This blade clips to 3mm and is suitable for most beef cattle, and especially commercial cattle requiring to be clipped before housing. It is a good blade for coping with hair matted with manure or other types of dirt.

This blade should be considered for use also on horse’s especially thick coated cobs or the denser coated native breeds. Can be used effectively on the odd individual sheep, but is not recommended for any degree of shearing use on wool fibres on sheep or similar coated animals.

Aesculap blades are made to a very high standard, and as such require to be sharpened by professional blade sharpeners familiar with the make and quality of this blade to achieve and maintain peak cutting performance.
