A2H/AC – ‘Lifter’ blade

The “lifter” (Sometimes called the “hog” blade.) is a 13mm (half inch) specially designed blade originally made for the preparation of pigs and is especially popular with many pig owners in the USA.

This is a blade which has found a lot of favour with horse owners for clipping out leg/hoof feathers, and also has a popular following amongst exhibition cattle owners requiring to leave a long coat for winter fat stock and other shows.

The blade is basically an A2/AC blade to which a plastic 13mm lifter comb has been added, thus giving an overall finish cut of around a ½-inch in depth.
