Blade interlock
(Blade release lever)

Please note
When fitting the blade release lever ensure that the two hair spring sprigs of the blade support (blade hinge assembly) are correctly slotted into both holes (see red arrows) before refitting.
If this is not done correctly the blade may not fit or release correctly.

As the “hook” (see blue arrow) holds the blade in place and is brittle by intent – it should be fully pushed in before removing the blade.
When removing blades – motor switched off
When replacing the blade – motor running
