Blocking blade

Wider shaped blade popular in the USA with many dog groomers and often used for body blocking on larger dog breeds.

Blocking blades generally have very fine teeth are used for blocking trimming and carving or as the Americans say “sculpturing” (shaping.) They are said to be ideal for full clip downs on matted dogs, free-hand shortening of coat before scissoring blocking or skimming.

Popular blade in the USA for show work on exhibition cattle.

Please note: Attachment combs cannot be used with these blades.
